Like so many these days, rather than attending classes I maintain my weight loss by following Weight Watchers at home. The amount of support available in various online communities really helps you to feel like you aren’t going at it alone and helps to keep your head in the game.

The Weight Watchers Community Pages, Weight Watchers Facebook Groups and Instagram are full of lovely people who every day make it a little easier for someone following the plan at home whether it be through a supportive comment, answering a quick question, or my favourite, through sharing their own recipes and ideas to make losing weight tasty!

That’s why I decided to create a new section of my blog which will be dedicated to sharing some of my favourite recipes and ideas I see from those in the online community. So I present to you Skinny Kitchen Takeover!

First up we have Louise who I’ve been following on Instagram for a good while now (lou_wwgoldmember). Louise regularly shares her amazing ideas for meals and recipes to the delight of her many followers and this is one of my favourite recipes of hers. So without further a do….

Louise’s Skinny Kitchen Takeover

Hi my name is Louise , currently a Weight Watchers gold member after losing a total of 30lbs. I’ve been successfully maintaining my weight now for nearly a year. I’ve found a love for cooking whilst being on Weight Watchers and I love to create new recipes.

Louise’s Before and After

One of my favourite recipes is my ‘Baked Oats’ I have them nearly every day because they’re so filling, quick and easy to do! So here’s how I make them.

Baked Oat’s

5sp (Flex) for all four or free on F&H

Ingredients

1 medium egg

50ml Skimmed milk (0)

2 tbsp artificial sweetener (0)

Above is the basic ‘Baked Oats’ recipe. Try some of my favourite combinations;

Almond essence & cherries (0)

Lemon zest & blueberries (0)

Coconut choc shot with crushed raspberries (0)

You can add in whatever you like and work out the ‘propoints’ accordingly !

*

Method

Pop all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Add the filling of your choice and stir through. Pour the mixture into four silicone cases. Pop in to the oven on 200c for 25-30 minutes.

Serve warm with fruit of your choice!!
